The above is an alternate look at the race for the plays and title in the Ryman Premier Division. It shows Margate can still close the gap on Maidstone United if they win their two games in hand so all is not over by any means particually with Margate still having to travel to The Gallagher Stadium later in the month.

Dulwich Hamlet, who lost 4-0 at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday, should bar a remarkable loss of form finish in a play off spot and Hendon, with their games in hand, should also finish in the top five.

It then probably comes down to an exciting race for fifth spot between the six teams on 58 to 55 points. Enfield Town and Leatherhead on 51 points still have an outside chance but will need to win at least nine of their remaining games and even then it wouldn't guarantee them a place in the top five.

Who is hitting form at the right time?

Leatherhead and Bognor Regis Town are the form sides of the current top twelve gaining 16 and 14 points from their last eighteen on offer.

The Met and East Thurrock United are the lowest on just five points from their last eighteen on offer.

MIDWEEK MATCHES  THIS WEEK
All Tuesday evening unless stated

AFC HORNCHURCH v LEATHERHEAD
The Urchins are still in the relegation zone but will go into this home game with a little more confidence having won 1-4 at Bury Town on Saturday. This is a hard result to call because as stated above The Tanners are the form team in the division. George Purcell netted twice for Hornchurch on Saturday along with Kieron Bishop who scored one goal. He joined the club from Ware in January having scored 19 in 31 games for the Division One (North) club. He has also played for FC Broxbourne Borough, Cockfosters and Redbridge as well as spending the 2012/13 season with Aslan FC in Division One of the Hertfordshire Senior County League.

EAST THURROCK UNITED v BOGNOR REGIS TOWN
A real play-off six pointer at Rookery Hill. A win for either side could see them move up into fifth place depending on Wingate's result at Harrow.

HARROW BOROUGH v WINGATE AND FINCHLEY
A massive local derby game at Earlsmead. A win would see Wingate move into fifth place. A win for 23rd placed Harrow would move closer to Witham Town and AFC Hornchurch in the race to avoid the drop.

WITHAM TOWN v HENDON
Hendon beat Witham Town on Saturday by 2-0 through goals from Kezie Ibe on 22 mins and 83 mins. A win or a draw here would set up Witham nicely for their massive relegation six pointer versus AFC Hornchurch on Saturday.

GRAYS ATHLETIC v HAMPTON AND RICHMOND (Wednesday night)
14th V 18th. Grays will finish comfortably in mid-table with their visitors needing a few more wins to near enough guarantee safety and Premier Division football for the 2015/16 season.
